Board Certified Psychiatric Physician Assistant

Working in healthcare since 1997, Mandie has possessed a lifelong passion for the practice of medicine. While completing her Master's in Medical Science at Midwestern University's PA program, she took a special interest in neuropsychiatry. Since 2011, Mandie has provided full-time, office-based psychiatric services, then spent a year in the emergency department before returning to her true passion of mental health. Mandie obtained her Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry through the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants in October 2016, furthering her specialization in the field she loves.

Mandie frequently performs pharmacogenetic and laboratory testing to identify contributing factors toward patients' symptoms, and she wholeheartedly advocates addressing the often neglected mind-body connection. She is an adjunct professor for NAU, Midwestern University, and A.T. Still University's physician assistant programs, and she precepts PA students from A.T. Still, NAU, Midwestern, and Yale PA programs, as she strongly believes that the best solution to the psychiatric healthcare shortage is to create more providers. (In fact, this is where we discovered the wonderful provider talent that rounds out our team!)

Her clinical work history also includes hospital neurology, physical medicine & rehabilitation, pain management, and psychiatric consulting for the Department of Corrections.

Off the clock, Mandie is obsessed with self-remodeling and flipping homes, teaching her children to be handy, having adventures with her handsome goofball of a horse, Ladmo, running triathlons, and jumping with both feet into any and every physical or outdoor activity possible!

Jessica is a board-certified physician assistant who first joined us as a PA student in early 2018, while completing her clinical rotations.  This experience sparked in her a deep appreciation for the field of behavioral health.

She previously completed her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University and worked in education for seven years, prior to pursuing her passion for the field of healthcare. She completed her Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University in 2018, and we brought her on board the very moment we could! She demonstrates an infectious motivation to deliver whole-person care.

In her downtime, she enjoys traveling with her family, running, and exploring the outdoors.

Board Certified Physician Assistant

Josi is a board-certified physician assistant who first joined us when completing her psychiatric clinical rotation in 2019. Though she had already completed her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Arizona State University, worked as a home health aid for 2 years, and completed her master's thesis project in psychiatry, her clinical experience at Pinnacle confirmed her passion for the specialty of behavioral health.

She later returned to us to complete her final elective rotation and continue her psychiatric specialization, then graduated with her Master's of Physician Assistant Studies at Northern Arizona University in 2020. We jumped at the chance to bring her on board when she expressed an interest in joining our team! She appreciates the value of treating each patient as an individual and values the interconnection between physical and psychiatric health.

When she's off the clock, she enjoys hanging out with her pups, kayaking, and camping.

Board Certified Physician Assistant

Erin is a board-certified physician assistant with a lifelong passion for healthcare. Her interest in behavioral medicine began at a young age, as she learned firsthand the importance of good mental health from her mother, who is herself a psychologist. While fulfilling her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University, she completed two psychiatric rotations at Pinnacle Psychiatry, where her experiences led to further respect and appreciation for the field of behavioral health.

Very early into her rotation, we realized we needed Erin on our team! She previously earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Arizona State University, bringing with her over 10 years of clinical practice as a registered dietitian. This has made her an invaluable asset to the Pinnacle team, as she provides a wealth of expertise regarding the role of nutrition in best health.  She further pursued her love of medicine by becoming a physician assistant so that she can expand her scope and provide patients with a more holistic and higher level of care.

In her spare time, Erin enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, laughing with friends, and reading a good book.
